因為歷經八七水災，蕭家祖先跋山涉水遷到花蓮，祈求安身立命的家，讓後代子孫不再受天災而流離失所，因此，祖先開墾這片土地時的給子傳承的最大財富便是：順四時、心龍安，更在蓋龍安茶場時，將建築物黑瓦白牆的顏色，時刻提醒家人對土地、自然的尊重只能便是要黑白分明、不存雜念；這也是龍安茶場一貫對環境和產品的唯一堅持。
